Hi, I’m Jeni, your fun-loving (and often clumsy) storytelling partner!
I haven’t always been a full-time photographer, but I have always loved photography! I recall a middle-school class where I learned about film photography and how to develop my own film. That class, along with my grandmother who loved photography, sparked a lifetime love of capturing special moments. I spent over 20 years climbing the Corporate ladder while building my photography business on the side. During that time, I discovered that photography offered the perfect balance between business and creativity that I craved. When the opportunity came to dedicate myself to this passion full-time, I jumped at the chance — and I haven’t looked back since!
I’m a portrait photographer specializing in High School Seniors and Weddings, and I’m passionate about capturing images that tell your unique story. My approach is simple: I spend time getting to know you so that your personality shines through in every photo. By the end of your session or event, chances are we’ll be friends — and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me traveling to new places, rollerblading through the neighborhood, or curled up with a good murder/mystery book. I also love a good Netflix binge and always have my favorite drink (water) close by. Fun fact: I have a serious weakness for anything sweet or salty — strawberries and popcorn, anyone?
I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Tim, and we have two amazing kids who keep life exciting and full of love. Although they are more like young adults now! We recently added a Boston Terrier to the mix. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I’m honored to help you capture the moments that matter most to you and yours.

Tidbits About Me

It's hard to believe that I found the love of my life in High School (although he is from Kentucky). We have two kids together (Logan and Kali) and we hope that we are preparing them well to be independent in this world. We recently added our fur child, Luna the Boston Terrier and love her silly antics, often referring to her as our “Luna-tic”.

You will always see me with a giant glass of water. But I do love drinking Dr. Pepper and relaxing with a glass of red wine. I crave sugar and salt, so Hot Tamales, French Fries, Popcorn, Strawberries and Pickles (not all at the same time) are some of my favorite snacks.

When I am not practicing photography, I can be found watching netflix, listening to podcasts, rollerblading or reading a murder mystery book. I have to admit that I have watched every episode of "Friends" more times than I can count.

I tend to drive my hubby nuts when I need to make a mess before I organize/clean. I thrive in organized chaos!
I am the biggest clutz, even though I am a former gymnast and diver.
I am bored with cooking. I need some new ideas for dinner recipes since I tend to make the same things on rotation.

I love exploring this earth and seeing new things. I have been to India many times and there is still so much to see. I love warm, tropical climates and dream of visiting Thailand some day.

My Commitment to you
Am I standing in a hole? I must be! I am definitely vertically challenged (I’m short!), but this family photo really accentuates it. We all have something that we are self-conscious about. As your photography partner, I will work with you to figure out what concerns you have and create some plans to address those through unique posing or afterwards with slight editing. I want to assure you that I can address most concerns very easily. I’ve seen it all! I believe in capturing the real you, so any edits that I make are designed to highlight your natural beauty.
