Meet Jeni

Hello, and welcome! I am so happy you made it here.

As the owner and main photographer for Giftbox Creations Photography LLC, I have been photographing friends, family and clients for over 20 years and recently traded in my corporate career to pursue my passion for photography full-time. I specialize in High School Seniors and student athletes and am located in Coon Rapids, Minnesota (a northwest suburb of Minneapolis and St. Paul).

My husband, Tim, and I are high school sweethearts and I still can't believe how we were lucky enough to meet when we did. We now have two teenagers that keep us on the go. It seems as though I blinked and discovered their childhood has passed by so quickly.  I often find myself looking at photos from over the years reminiscing about the moments that have passed by. While it is convenient to have photos on my phone or computer, I can't quickly find them when I am looking for something specific. I love the feeling of having something to hold (like a portrait on the wall or in a photo album) that helps to tell the story of our daily lives. That is why I am so passionate about having tangible products for my clients that represent their natural beauty and the culmination of their accomplishments during their senior year.

My mission is to give you the most amazing, memorable Senior Portrait experience so that you can look back at this time in your life with fondness and joy in your heart. I want to capture the uniqueness that makes you YOU! By walking you through this process, I am confident that I can deliver amazing images that capture your personality and vision. I am looking forward to starting the planning process with you.

You may find references to Peacocks throughout my site. There are lessons that we can learn from Peacocks and I find myself trying to bring out the inner peacock of those I photograph.
